HP Mini Card EVDO WWAN module (USB 2.0, QL)

Sierra Wireless have released their first product in the PCI Express Mini Card product line, the MC5720, for CDMA 1xEV-DO networks.
The Express Mini Card series of devices is designed to seamlessly integrate portable computing devices with 3G networks.

This is great news for laptop users, for two reasons:
1. They don't have to depend on the availability of Wi-Fi hotspots when they are on the move
2. 3G speeds mean they will now have truly broadband connectivity
 

Note: Verizon Wireless Broadband Access has wide-area coverage, mobility and secure CDMA technology.
